13.5. Dissertation & Thesis-Proficiency in Art

In the ISNAD Citation Style, titles of dissertation & thesis are preferred to be italic. It is also preferred to indicate the type of dissertation & thesis as “Thesis in Proficiency in Art” instead of “Unpublished Thesis in Proficiency in Art”.

First Reference Author’s First and Last Name, Title of Thesis (City: Name of University, Institute, Thesis in Proficiency in Art, Year), Page Number.
Example Esen Baydemir, Berlin İslam Sanatları Müzesi’nde Bulunan Türk Halıları (İstanbul: Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü, Thesis in Proficiency in Art, 2018), 55.
Subsequent References Author’s Last Name, Title of Thesis or Short Title, Page Number.
Example Baydemir, Berlin İslam Sanatları Müzesi’nde Bulunan Türk Halıları, 70-71.
Bibliography Author’s Last Name, First Name. Title of Thesis. City: Name of University, Institute, Thesis in Proficiency in Art, Year. (if available) URL
